Ch-ch-ch-chia! These little seeds don't just make awesome sprouted plants — they are good for the body and for skin! When chia seeds are pressed, the oil can be applied to the skin to hydrate, moisturize, and calm redness (we feature it in our Phoenix Facial Oil!). They're also really tasty: sprinkle them on salads, yogurt, and more.
Chia is rich in Vitamin E and it is easily absorbed by the body. And we all know Vitamin E keeps skin supple, smooth, and soft. Chia's Omega 3 fats combat acne and wrinkles. It's also got Zinc, an important mineral that is thought of as a miracle anti-aging mineral. Some even claim to have gained glowing skin when they incorporated chia seeds into their diet! Yes please.
