"As a company we feel very strongly about helping people and the environment. This is why we started Herbivore in the first place. We want all targeted minority groups to know that we see you, we hear you, and we will fight for you." - Julia and Alex
Uncertain times call for very certain actions.
Cultural diversity is of unparalleled importance to the holistic health and fundamental prosperity of our country. That importance is now under unrelenting attack and we refuse to stay silent. To help protect the rights of immigrants, minority groups, and all those seeking refuge inside our borders, 15% of this weekend’s sales will be donated to the ACLU. We will continue to both advocate and celebrate cultural diversity through our own company values while helping to fund the tireless efforts of the ACLU to ensure the protection of all individual's rights.
We have also joined forces with our friends in the eco-friendly and conservation focused Plant Family community to support the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe in defense of their native land rights. A strong belief in community activism unites this family of small business brands. We are deeply saddened by the DAPL’s corporate driven and greed fueled flagrant disregard for the natural resources, quality of life, and cultural values of Standing Rock’s indigenous people. To aid in the protection of their water quality and sacred land rights, we will be donating another 15% of this weekend’s sales to the Standing Rock Medic + Healer Council. This group coordinates medical and healer supplies and staff support between a variety of groups such as The Standing Rock Tribal Council, Indian Health Services, Standing Rock Emergency Services and all camp outposts in support of pipeline resistance.
Plant Family is a close-knit network of small business owners, all committed to making and trading exclusively all-natural botanical based medicines and remedies, with a firm dedication to plant education and to increasing appreciation for the beauty and benefits of the natural world.
Herbivore stands by Standing Rock. Herbivore stands by all Human Rights.
