Domestic Orders

How will this impact my U.S. order?
With these increased safety measures, please expect delayed shipping timelines, with up to 3-4 business days to process your order. Know that we are doing our best to get your order to you quickly and safely.

Why is my shipment delayed?
As many customers choose to shop online instead of in-person due to precautions as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, providers such as USPS/UPS/FedEx are experiencing delays as they face record-breaking shipping volumes. Your order may take an additional 3-4 business days to arrive after shipment.

Once the package has been transferred to the shipping provider, Herbivore Botanicals is no longer responsible for other delays that may occur. As soon as your order is shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking details. We recommend following your tracking closely to stay informed regarding the whereabouts of your order.

Where is my order? Why hasn't the tracking updated?
Shipping providers and delivery systems are currently facing massive strain this holiday season. This has regrettably resulted in problems with tracking for some customers.

While the tracking for your order may not update immediately, please rest assured that your order is well on its way. We encourage you to check the tracking page regularly for updates, although it has not been uncommon for packages to show up without any tracking updates whatsoever at this time.

Please allow 2-3 business days for your tracking information to update and show progress. If your tracking has not updated after 3 business days of receiving your shipping confirmation, please reach out to us at info@herbivorebotanicals.com and our team will assist you.

How can I cancel my order?
At this time we are unable to change or cancel orders once placed, but you may go through the returns process once the package is received. We offer free returns within 30 days so you may return the package when it is convenient for you.

International Orders

I’ve already ordered from Herbivore. How will this impact my international shipment?
Due to the current health crisis, shipping providers and delivery systems are facing massive strain, and many have been experiencing significant delays. Please expect delayed shipping timelines, with up to 6-8 additional business days to leave the country once shipped.

International orders placed through Herbivore.com are typically processed in 3-4 business days. Once shipped, international orders can take up to four weeks to arrive since all orders must pass through customs and this time frame is completely at the discretion of the shipping providers. Once the package has been transferred to the shipping provider, Herbivore Botanicals is no longer responsible for other delays that may occur.

Your international shipping rates seem higher than before. What happened?
International customers may notice that shipping costs for orders placed on HerbivoreBotanicals.com are higher based on currently available options. Once shipping systems become less impacted, we hope to offer more competitive rates once again. In the meantime, we truly apologize for any inconvenience this causes.

Returns

What is your return policy?
We offer complimentary returns within 30 days of purchase. To return, please pack the items safely back into the original packaging (if possible) and follow the steps in the Herbivore return portal. Once we receive the package and inspect the product(s), the total amount minus the original shipping cost will be returned back to your original form of payment.
Once a return is received at our facility, please allow up to 10 business days for the refund to be processed. You will receive a notification once this has been completed.

How is Herbivore handling my return?
All returned packages are promptly destroyed to avoid any cross contamination.

Our Employees

What is Herbivore doing to help employees?
All employees who are able to work from home are doing so and will continue to do so until this pandemic is behind us. To ensure the health of employees, we are working with them to provide additional time off and emergency sick leave.

What is being done to protect production and fulfillment workers in Herbivore’s distribution centers?
Employees are given ample space, at least six feet of distance to work. Employees are given N95 masks and protective gear which must be worn at all times.

Production

How is Herbivore keeping production and shipping facilities sanitary?
We take COVID very seriously and hygiene is a top priority. We are doing the following, which includes:

  • All door handles and common areas in our workspaces are thoroughly sanitized several times a day.
  • Frequent hand washing, sanitizing, and distancing is mandatory, as is Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), which Herbivore supplies to all warehouse staff.

  • Employees undergo daily temperature checks and screenings. All staff are also encouraged to get routine COVID tests to monitor their health.

  • We encourage warehouse staff to limit taking public transportation into work, and offer alternative commute options.

Donations

What is Herbivore doing to help the community in this time?
We are donating 50,000 hand sanitizers to United Way, an organization in Seattle, Washington providing care to marginalized communities. We are also donating 1,000 self-care packages to support healthcare workers on the frontlines of COVID-19 at over 20 hospitals around the country like Mount Sinai NYC and NYC Bellevue.

Is Herbivore available for donation opportunities for individuals?
We are currently putting together care packs of samples and small items to donate directly to hospital teams. We are also assessing ways to donate funds directly to organizations that advocate for healthcare workers. At this time, we are unfortunately unable to provide individual donations due to stock restrictions.

Since our company’s conception in our founders’ Seattle kitchen in 2011, we have remained committed to giving our community the tools they need to feel well and radiant, and this promise hasn’t changed.
