Herbivore Exfoliators by Target Skincare Concern
Exfoliating is key to glowing skin, but many of us don’t know where to start. when choosing an exfoliator. We suggest using our PRISM 12% AHA + 5% BHA Exfoliating Glow Serum on a near-daily basis, and pairing its magic with a weekly mask ritual.
We suggest choosing a weekly facial mask based on your current skin concerns, a habit that can rescue us from the doldrums of repetitive skincare routines, tune us into our skin more intimately, give our skin a chance to renew more happily and effectively, and essentially pry us out of a skincare rut.
Observe your skin. Is it feeling rough, dry, congested, etc.? Is your skin prone to discoloration or dullness? Choose from the below Herbivore masks based on the concerns you’ve historically dealt with:

Exfoliation types (chemical, enzyme and physical) briefly explained:
- Chemical- Also known as alpha-hydroxy acids (AHAs), chemical exfoliators dissolve excess dirt and oil via gentle acids derived from natural botanicals.
- Enzymatic- Gentle, plant-derived enzymes are considered gentler than chemical exfoliators, and can be easier for very sensitive skin to handle.
- Physical- Masks and scrubs are included in this category, and use either absorptive clay or gentle friction to lift and release excess dirt and oil.
