Summer Thriving

Summer is here in the Northern Hemisphere, so naturally, we are doing all the summer things!

Nothing brings this sunny season to mind quite like gobbling a handful of fresh-picked blueberries or soothing sunned skin after a day of reading on the beach (don’t forget your SPF!). 

Perhaps you’re happily tending to a flourishing garden or arranging your summer altar. Or, you could be galavanting under the celestials with metaphysically minded friends. In any case, we know what’s true: summer has indeed settled in.

At the beginning of the year, we at Herbivore decided that 2019 would be the “Year of Self Love,” and so far, this embrace has so far helped to guide us as we launch powerful new products and content, particularly in the following two realms:

• We’ve arrived in the cannabis world. In the spring we launched our Emerald CBD + Adaptogens Deep Moisture Glow Oil, the CBD alternative to  Emerald Deep Moisture Glow Oil. These hemp oil-based oils are taking Herbivore self-care rituals to new highs  thanks to their soothing power—Emerald CBD even reduces redness and inflammation! We also opened our Emerald Lifestyle Shop and started our @herbivoreemerald Instagram account. Both of these new additions feature content geared toward a cannabis-accentuated lifestyle. As spring turns to summer, we will continue to support Americans for Safe Access with our sales, because it is not enough to simply support the cannabis industry—we must also stay diligent in the fight to decriminalize  cannabis.

• We’ve arrived in the retinol-alternative world. This past June, we launched our Bakuchiol Retinol-Alternative Smoothing Serum, which has quickly become a favorite among our staff and customers for its stellar ability to decrease fine lines, plump tired skin, and reduces hyperpigmentation. This incredible product has taken the anti-aging skin care world by storm by offering something truly natural and non-irritating, and we are so proud! 

All of this newness has aligned beautifully with our spring theme: Spring Awakening, wherein we focused on the essence of blooming in the realm of self-care, discovering new things and building our habits to support a flourishing and healthy lifestyle (along with gorgeous glowing skin). 

As we glide into the heart of the summer season, we are focusing on the essence of thriving in our self-care routines. At this point, we hope to have found a rhythm and confidence in our self-love and beauty rituals, and are now enjoying life moment-to-moment, especially during this sun-celebratory season.
