For reference, I am 61 with moderately oily skin. I suffered with cystic acne from age 14-45! My complexion is now finally and blissfully clear, except for blackheads on my nose. I've tried 101 salicylic acid products and none of them have made much of a difference. I was hoping that this one would actually work. But I've been using it every night for almost three weeks, and it's working only very slightly better than most of the other products I've tried. Maybe it just needs some more time, we'll see. I'm also considering applying it twice a day to see if that improves the results. It is so non-greasy that your skin will look bare after you apply it. I like that, and I also love that it's non-irritating and has no noticeable aroma.
I love Herbivores natural, non-toxic formulas and pretty bottles! I'm a repeat customer from way back. But I will not be repurchasing this product unless I see some more noticeable results, especially at this price point!
This product absorbs nicely and has a great texture, but I have yet to see any improvement in the acne on my cheeks. Doesn't dry my skin out, but whether it's doing anything is dubious thus far. I've been using it for weeks with zero improvement. Would likely not purchase again unless I start to see some improvement.
Since starting this serum my rosacea, clogged pores and trapped oil have improved greatly with less break outs and trapped oil under my skin and having tried a few different salicylic acid products this has not dried out my skin so I will keep using and see how my face in doing after 6 weeks of use.
