BEAUTY TIP No. 3 | Oil + Water

One of the biggest not-so-secret secrets of the beauty industry is a trick that will make your skin smoother than baby’s bottom. In most cases the rule is that oil and water do not necessarily mix but when it comes to skincare, this is the best recipe for your routine. Using a facial oil in combination with a toner or mist is the best way to ensure delivery of moisture and nutrients into the deeper layers of the skin. When mixing the oil and water together, it mimics the oil/water balance of our skin, allowing the oil to penetrate rather than sit on top of the skin’s surface, which can leave a feeling of residue.

  • Wash face with Bamboo Charcoal Soap for deep detoxifying cleanse
  • Use 3-5 drops of facial oil in the palm of your hand
  • Spray about 3-5 sprays of a facial mist or toner into the palm with oil
  • Blend together and massage into skin for at least 60 seconds
One of our favorite combos is our Orchid Oil mixed with Jasmine Green Tea Balancing Toner!

I use the pink clay soap, rose hibiscus spray, and orchid oil and I LOVE these! I can’t believe that I actually put oil on my face, but a little goes a long way and my skin feels great. I will never go back-I love these products:) The charcoal soap has helped clear up my husband’s skin, which has been irritated for months without knowing why. Love that they are natural cleansers as well.

I mean Orchid Oil…not Blue Tansy! Oops! ☺️ But I do use Blue Tansy mask once a week, too. ?

I love using Blue Clay soap with a sea sponge to clean my face then spray with Rose Hibiscus Mist. Once it is mostly dry I finish off with a few drops of your Jasmine oil or Blue Tansy and my skin is better than it has ever been…no more acne or real discoloration. Furreals this line of products has changed my life.

I love the idea behind your products, I really really wanted to love them on my skin, but my skin was the oiliest it’s ever been :( I still even have some oil left from all 3 of the rollers I tried.
