BEAUTY TIP No. 5 | The No-Wash Wash

While we love using our amazing soaps, sometimes we can over wash, which strips our skin of its natural oils and microbiome which keeps it healthy, strong, and hydrated. Over drying our skin is one of the worst things we can do for our bodies. If you ask anyone with *amazing* skin what they do to get that glow, more often than not their answer is "I don’t do anything, not much, keeping my hands off is the trick... " Of course we want to wash our skin in the evening to clear away dirt, dust, pollution, and makeup from the day. But haven’t you noticed your skin is kind of glowy first thing in the morning (especially so if you used one of our facial oils the night before!)? More often than not, we do not need to wash our skin in the morning but can instead, use a facial toner or mists to keep it hydrated and looking younger than ever. If you're anything like us, you may find your skin glowing after trying these three steps:

  1. In the morning, spray copious amounts of Rose Hibiscus Hydrating Facial Mist or Jasmine Green Tea Balancing Toner onto your skin.

  2. Wipe clean + dry with a cotton pad. Repeat if you feel it’s necessary

  3. Splash your face with cold water to bring fresh blood and oxygen to the surface to increase circulation and tighten pores. Follow up with another spray or two of the Mist or Toner, a Facial Oil, and voila! Your skin will feel fresh, clean, and will absolutely love you for being gentle to it.
