The Power of Purple: Introducing Bakuchiol Retinol-Alternative Smoothing Serum!

Rarely found in nature, purple is the most intense hue of the color spectrum. Plants, botanicals and foods that feature a purple hue are known to carry massive nutritive, healing and youth-renewing benefits, as well as the essences of peace and vitality. In skincare and beauty, purple hues signal nature’s defense against stress and age-related concerns.

Introducing Bakuchiol Retinol-Alternative Smoothing Serum: an ultra-gentle serum that works both above and below the skin to smooth fine lines and wrinkles using the power of purple!

Its gorgeous violet hue harkens to its signature ingredient: babchi plant-derived bakuchiol,  which offers an age-defying, vitality-boosting retinoic effect. Soothing purple amethyst extract and powerhouse damage-fighting blueberry stem cells add healing and nutritive benefits of their own.

While additional ingredients such as natural PHAs and Tremella mushroom lend skin-plumping effects, Bakuchiol Smoothing Serum harnesses the power of naturally purple ingredients in the following ways:

  • Bakuchiol, a natural derivative of the purple-flowered babchi plant, delivers remarkable anti-aging effects such as skin healing and brightening (sans the extra dryness known to occur with the use of synthetic retinol products), by encouraging collagen production and cell turnover to keep the skin fresh and youthful.
  • Amethyst extract, helps to calm and balance the skin. Known for its ability to aid in meditation, this glittering lavender crystal is renowned for its anxiety-reducing vibes. The essence of amethyst gives Bakuchiol Smoothing Serum the added ability to help prevent cell damage from stress.
  • Blueberry stem cells help to give Bakuchiol Smoothing Serum its incredible anti-aging potency. Blueberries, with their brilliant purple juices, are revered for their aid in healing and preventing free-radical cell damage, which is a root cause of aging!

Babchi oil, when in virgin condition, is rather ugly (dark ) and smell’s too nutty. It’s great Bakuchiol is available – I’ve never seen it so don’t know whether the colour improves?

Will there be more Bakuchiol serum? Thank you.

I have the same question as the above two ladies! Would love to hear the best way to incorporate this product and how it should be layered with the Emerald and the Prism.

When do I use this within a daily routine?

I typically cleanse with the pink clay bar, tone with the rose spray and then apply prism and emerald. Allow it all to sit for a bit before applying sunscreen and makeup.

Where would I add this in? And do I use in place of other acids such as lactic?

When do I use this in my routine? I also use your Lapiz oil after I moisturize so is it ok to layer them?
