Bamboo Charcoal has been used for centuries in the Far East, purifying and cleansing the skin of dirt by drawing impurities from deep within pores. Gentle enough to use as both a facial and body cleanser.

Scent: Citrusy bergamot and clay

Texture: Solid bar soap, lathers into a rich, luxurious foam

Color: Black with white flecks

How to use

Lather between hands with water, and apply generously to face and body.
Follow up with Pink Cloud and a Facial Oil.
Gentle enough to use daily.

What is the PH level for this soap?

All of our bar soaps can be used for the face and body, and have a pH level of 9.

If this is a soap it must contain some sort of lye /sodium hydroxide. Is this correct?

We do use sodium hydroxide in the process of making our soaps, however, no sodium hydroxide remains in the soap after the saponification process so it is not listed in the finished product.

Can you use Bamboo Charcoal Soap with dry skin?

Bamboo Charcoal Soap is suitable for all skin types but is especially beneficial for oily and combination types.

So good
I’m 38 and still get breakouts on my chest! It’s so annoying when I want to wear a v-neck or tank top. This soap has tremendously helped get rid of a lot of the pimples on my chest & has greatly reduced the size & amount and I’ve only been using it for about few days. Absolutely recommend this soap if you struggle with body acne!

Covered in Lint
This soap is quite expensive for the size of it and mine had fine lint all over it. I reached out to Herbivore a couple of days ago and have yet to hear back. I don’t want to use it.
