A “FEEL GOOD” CLEANSER
I appreciate a homegrown business that aims to make products that are safer for the earth and its inhabitants. I love the idea of cleaning my face with mushrooms, instead of chemicals, about which we know little. This cleanser feels good going on and appears to “take off the day” effectively. (My skin is older, formerly peaches-and-cream fair, and suffering from a lifetime of abuse and neglect.) I’ve been using this along with the Pink Cloud moisturizer, Cloud Jelly, and Phoenix oil…religiously now that it’s too late 😝 My hairdresser said my face must be well hydrated since the deep purple dye came off my hairline so easily. I like how my skin looks and feels. The packaging and glass bottles it comes in are beautiful. All of which is feel-good.
Are these potions really improving my skin or changing the rate at which it will continue aging? Seems unlikely. But my skin is undeniably clearer, cleaner, and softer a year or so later—something I was never been able to say with the various department store regimes I’ve (sort of) tried.
Should women need four different, expensive, products to make our faces socially acceptable? No. Then to cover it in makeup products before we dare leave the house? Only if we continue believing the billion dollar Big Beauty scam.
