Create Your Perfect Potion

Posted:Written by: Alison Kerns

Just like our energy and emotions, our skin is consistently changing due to time, diet, lifestyle, and hormones (amongst many other things, too!)  It’s easy to lock yourself into a “skin-type”, but consider understanding your skin from the perspective of how your skin feels not what your skin is.  This is where we ask you to use your skintuition – and we have potions to assist!

Mixing Prism with one of our facial oils increases absorption of the oil and adds extra magic to Prism’s rainbow of fruit acids.  Consider one or all of these potion recipes for perfect skin alchemy:

BALANCE + CLARIFY
equal parts Prism + Lapis Facial Oil
Use up to 4 drops of each and mix in the palm of your hand to create a potion that increases clarity, helps reduce redness, and prevent future blemishes.

HYDRATE + GLOW
equal parts Prism + Orchid Facial Oil
Use up to 4 drops of each and mix in the palm of your hand to create a potion that hydrates, provides a glow, and primes the skin.

SOOTHE + GLOW
equal parts Prism + Emerald Facial Oil
Use up to 4 drops of each and mix in the palm of your hand to create a potion that calms skin, provides a dewy glow, and deeply hydrates.

NOURISH + SHINE
equal parts Prism + Phoenix Facial Oil
Use up to 4 drops of each and mix in the palm of your hand to create a potion that deeply hydrates, nourishes, and helps smooth texture.

Customizing your skincare to what your skin needs in the moment is great to achieve epidermal harmony on a topical level.  Use your skintuition when it comes to choosing the right recipe and don’t be afraid to experiment!  We notice the best results from rotating these potions based on how our skin is reacting, feeling, or behaving week-to-week.  Your skin may even love a combination of two recipes – everyone’s potion is different!
